Apple introduced three iPhones this year with a huge fanfare: the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max, and the iPhone XR. But two months after the launch, the company is trying to find new ways to fight the low demand for the new lineup. According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, it’s planning to revive the iPhone X. The report states that some of Apple’s suppliers have resumed the iPhone X production, months after the Cupertino company stopped selling the device in its own stores. Additionally, Apple needs to buy a specific amount of OLED panels from Samsung to restart production of the iPhone X.

A cleaning lady in Greece has been given a 10-year jail term — for lying about her primary school education. The woman, 53, had worked for a state-funded nursery for 15 years before a review in 2014 revealed she had forged an education certificate. She completed five years of primary education but changed documents to make it look like she had done six. The minimum requirement for state-employed cleaners is to complete the first six years of elementary education. The case has caused an uproar in Greece for being unduly strict. The Hellenic Association for Human Rights said the decision was “inhuman” and the judge “excessively rigid”.

Spain’s prime minister said he fully intends to veto the Brexit deal if no agreement on Gibraltar can be found. And he warned that if there’s no agreement, the European Council on Sunday “will most likely not take place.” “Not enough guarantees have been given yet around the agreement that’s being negotiated in Brussels and, therefore, Spain maintains its veto,” Pedro Sánchez told reporters in Havana during a state visit to Cuba. The Spanish government insists that the Brexit deal must make clear that negotiations on the future relationship between Gibraltar and the EU will be conducted separately to those between the U.K. and EU, and that they can only proceed with Madrid’s approval.

Chances are, you or someone you know is getting ready to shop on Black Friday.

The informal kickoff to the Christmas shopping season has morphed into a spectacle that helps retailers lure shoppers to their stores.

Millions of Americans participate in the bonanza. More than 70% of people who plan to shop during the holiday season will turn out for Black Friday sales this year, according to a survey from Deloitte.

It's one of the most important shopping days in the United States, but, despite a common perception, the name has nothing to do with red or black ink on a merchant's balance sheet. Black Friday started in the 1950s in Philadelphia.
