Apple customers looking to buy the iPhone XR will have a protection option that won't hide the brightly-colored shell, as there will be a clear case among the selection of official accessories offered by Apple from the time of launch. While there have been new cases released for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max that offer a touch of color to the devices, the leather, silicone, and folio-style accessories not only cover up the majority of the iPhone, but also do so with opaque materials. So far, the case situation is relatively unknown for Apple's other smartphone release, the iPhone XR, but it seems Apple may offer something different for that model. Spotted by Twitter user "Ivan," Apple's press release for the iPhone XR in Canada includes a brief sentence on accessories for the smartphone. Similar press releases for the iPhone XR in the United States and the United Kingdom do not include the section, but versions for France and Germany do.

Movie extras filming scenes in the Brooklyn subway station for the Joker movie were reportedly locked on a subway car for over 3 hours, according to TMZ. The extras were denied their break after two hours of work and started banging on the subway doors asking to be let out as many needed to use the restroom. The lack of being allowed to leave the subway car led to some resorting to urinating on the train tracks through small spaces between the cars.

Warner Bros. is about to give Aquaman his first solo movie, but this isn’t the first outing for star Jason Momoa. Aquaman already joined the Justice League, and those other DC heroes left a mark on the Atlantean hero. During a press visit to the Aquaman set, Momoa discussed which Justice League heroes left the biggest impression on Aquaman. “I think everyone has really a lot of examples,” Momoa said. “I mean, me and Cyborg are definitely very much watching out for each other in the sense that I don’t trust him and he doesn’t trust me. I think we learn a lot from each other, you know what I mean? Wonder Woman, she’s easy on the eyes, so I’m going to listen to her a little more [laughs]. Bruce, I like to just, you know, ‘I don’t really wanna hear it. I’ll do it, not because you said, but I’ll do it.’

When a gunman opened fire with an AR-15 at a large high school in south Florida, he claimed the lives of students with their whole lives ahead of them, along with those of the teachers who tried to protect them. Here is a look at the 17 people who authorities say died in the deadly shooting Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
On a ho-hum day some 12,800 years ago, the Earth had emerged from another ice age. Things were warming up, and the glaciers had retreated.

Out of nowhere, the sky was lit with fireballs. This was followed by shock waves.

Fires rushed across the landscape, and dust clogged the sky, cutting off the sunlight. As the climate rapidly cooled, plants died, food sources were snuffed out, and the glaciers advanced again. Ocean currents shifted, setting the climate into a colder, almost "ice age" state that lasted an additional thousand years.
The scorching-hot stock market is fresh off yet another week of new record highs, yet one glaring question remains: When will it all come crashing down?

The global investment strategy team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch has an idea.

The firm, which has repeatedly warned of investor overexuberance, has identified what it sees as the perfect storm for a stock market correction - traditionally defined as a 10% selloff - and it involves four different metrics crossing particular thresholds.

According to BAML's analysis, such a reckoning will occur once (1) real gross domestic product (GDP) forecasts rise above 3%, (2) wage inflation climbs higher than 3%, (3) the 10-year Treasury yield exceeds 3%, and (4) the benchmark S&P 500 surges above the 3,000 level.
